Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a remote HB Coding Strategic Data Analyst to transform coding and revenue cycle data into actionable insights for leadership. The role develops dashboards, reports, and KPIs to drive performance, coding quality, and financial stewardship across outpatient operations.

Requirements include an Associate’s or higher with 3+ years of data analytics in healthcare, Epic/CAC experience, and strong Excel/Power BI skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health information management, Health Informatics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of data analytics experience in a healthcare setting.
• Epic reporting certification desired or to be obtained within six months.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and routine reports.
• Analyze coding and revenue cycle data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Translate findings into clear reports and presentations for leadership.
• Support reporting, technology, and process improvement initiatives.
