Job summary

CapTech Consulting is seeking a Cloud Architect in a hybrid role based in the United States. You will lead client-facing cloud initiatives, set technical direction, and mentor internal teams while collaborating with a range of Fortune 500 clients.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of software development and strong cloud architectural experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP, plus leadership of multiple technical teams. CapTech offers a comprehensive benefits package and a flexible, hybrid work model.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
Cloud architecture experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
7+ years of software development across a broad set of tools.
Ability to align architectural decisions with business needs.
Experience leading multiple technical project teams.
Knowledge of UNIX/Linux, CI/CD, and SDLC methodologies.

Responsibilities

Position yourself as a trusted advisor to CapTech clients and lead projects.
Oversee technical direction and define architectural standards with client staff.
Lead internal teams; act as a Service Offering liaison.
Design, implement, integrate, and support cloud solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, priorities, and delivery.
Define architecture for phased software development and review code.
Create documentation detailing strategy and design for stakeholders.
