Job summary

CapTech Consulting is seeking a Cloud Architect to lead architecture efforts for Fortune 500 clients in a hybrid-capable environment. You will steer technical direction, mentor developers, and ensure solutions align with client goals and industry standards.

The role demands hands-on leadership, strong cloud expertise across AWS/Azure/GCP, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable architectures while collaborating with diverse CapTech teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Cloud architecture experience using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• 7+ years software development across varied tools/tech.
• Ability to align architecture with business needs and client culture.
• Proven ability to lead multiple technical project teams.

Responsibilities

• Position yourself as a trusted advisor to CapTech clients.
• Oversee and set the technical direction of client projects, collaborating with client staff to define and adhere to architectural standards.
• Lead internal teams and act as a Service Offering liaison
• Design, implement, integrate, and support Cloud solutions
• Collaborate with clients, subject matter experts and the CapTech team to understand requirements, set priorities and project scope, and manage delivery
• Define the technical and solution architecture for phased software development
• Provide hands-on technical direction to other developers to review code and resolve issues
• Create documents that specify strategy, assessment, or design for client value
• Articulate architectural differences between methods and integration approaches across platforms
• Apply knowledge to decisions and serve as resource for client leadership
• Collaborate with CapTech BD to demonstrate capabilities, create visions, and produce estimates/plans
