CapTech Consulting is seeking a Cloud Architect to lead technical direction on client projects, design cloud solutions, and guide teams across Fortune 500 accounts. You will collaborate with clients, PMs, and SMEs to establish priorities, create architecture tailored to business needs, and ensure delivery of high-value cloud initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Cloud architecture experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• 7+ years of software development across a broad set of tools.
• Ability to translate architecture decisions into business value.
• Proven track record leading multiple technical project teams.
• Experience with IaaS, Serverless, Containers, and IaC.
• Knowledge of SDLC methods (Waterfall, Scrum, XP, Kanban, SAFe).
• Cloud Certifications are helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Position as trusted advisor to CapTech clients.
• Oversee technical direction of client projects and define standards.
• Lead internal teams and act as Service Offering liaison.
• Design, implement, integrate, and support cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with clients, SMEs, and CapTech to define scope and priorities.
• Define architecture for phased software development.
• Provide hands-on technical direction to resolve issues.
• Create design documents that deliver clear client value.
• Explain architectural approaches and integration across platforms.
• Engage in sales efforts to demonstrate capabilities and develop estimates.
