Job summary
CapTech is seeking a Cloud Architect to lead technical direction on client projects, designing and delivering cloud solutions across multiple platforms. You will mentor developers, partner with project managers, and align architecture with business goals for Fortune 500 clients.
The role requires deep cloud and software development experience, including .NET, REST APIs, and modern CI/CD practices, with a strong emphasis on strategic thinking and stakeholder communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
- Cloud architecture experience with Azure or AWX.
- 7+ years of software development across a broad toolset.
- Experience designing apps with .NET Framework 4.7 to .NET Core 3.1.
- Web development with ASP.NET MVC, C#, and Entity Framework.
- RESTful API development with Web API and Swagger.
Responsibilities
- Lead client projects, setting architectural direction and standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams and client staff to define scope.
- Provide hands-on technical direction to developers.
- Create design and strategy documents for stakeholders.
- Explain architectural options and integration approaches.
- Collaborate with business development to propose solutions and estimates.
