Director, Business Development

We are currently partnering with a fast-growing, quality-driven clinical site network based on the East Coast. They partner with pharmaceutical, biotech, and contract research organizations (CROs) to conduct clinical trials across a broad range of therapeutic areas, including Neurology, Internal Medicine, Dermatology, Sports Medicine, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Obstetrics/Gynecology, and others. They are looking to expand their commercial efforts with a proven business development professional to generate clinical trial opportunities across the listed therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities

• Spot high-value opportunities with sponsors, CROs, and biotechs — and make sure we’re at the table.
• Represent our organization at conferences, industry events, and key meetings.
• Develop and grow strong, lasting partnerships with sponsors and CROs.
• Oversee trial proposals, site feasibilities, and budgets — making sure they’re competitive, clear, and timely.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or a related field (advanced degree a plus).
• 5+ years of business development experience in clinical research, ideally with a clinical site network environment (CRO-owned networks applicants are encouraged to apply).
• Strong knowledge & understanding of how trials run, what sponsors need, and how sites succeed.
• A proven track record of winning trial awards & forming strong partnerships.
