MSD in Rahway, NJ is seeking an Inventory Manager Clinical Supplies Project Manager to lead downstream activities for assigned studies and ensure material availability.

The role requires deep knowledge of end-to-end clinical supply chain, collaboration with GCS and GMP/GCP familiarity, and adeptness with ERP and planning tools.

You will balance strategic and tactical execution, drive continuous improvement, and ensure timely packaging, labeling, and distribution to clinical sites.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or science; or 10+ years related experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in project management.
• At least 5 years of planning, scheduling, coordination and processing of supply chain activities.
• Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills: ability to communicate with stakeholders at various levels.
• Project Management Skills: strong knowledge of project management and clinical customer relationship management.
• Technical Proficiency: familiarity with SAP or Oracle and MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong Analytical & Problem Solving Skills: ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
• Flexibility & Adaptability: thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail Oriented & Organized: multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP), demand planning tools, and inventory management.
• Proven record in project / portfolio management.
• Knowledge of GMP and GCP is highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Participates on the Clinical Trial Team and collaborates closely with other functional area representatives to negotiate timelines and strategy for clinical supplies.
• Interacts with key partners in GCS and other organizations to address clinical supply topics.
• Responsible for establishing timelines for clinical supply needs per protocol and ensuring robust packaging and distribution signals.
• Analyzes and anticipates study risks related to the supply chain and develops mitigation strategies.
• Utilizes tools/systems such as IRT, PowerApps, SWMS, Veeva, MEDS, MyLearning and other Microsoft Applications to manage clinical supplies.
• Works directly in SAP to maintain a robust forecast for CFGs.
• Reports clinical supply chain incidents and participates in root cause analysis for improvements.
• Participates in change controls with stakeholders per SOPs/BPs and QMS procedures.
• Authors and processes deviation records and supports investigations.
• Supports non-pipeline and compliance activities and process improvements.
• Supports regulatory inspections for assigned trials.
• Demonstrates ability to solve unstructured problems and influence portfolio decisions with data.
• Balances strategy with tactical execution and shows ownership.
• Focus on Customers & Patients; make rapid, disciplined decisions; demonstrates ethics.
