Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking a sales-focused Account Manager for Infosec products in the United States. You will manage assigned accounts, build relationships with executives, and develop a consultative plan to achieve customer objectives while coordinating with technical support for complex queries.

You will monitor usage and health metrics, drive renewals and growth through cross-sell and upgrades, and manage the pipeline in Salesforce.com and Gainsight, embodying the Cengage Credo daily.

Responsibilities

• Handle the assigned accounts to consistently perform at or above quota.
• Build relationships with new customers, including management and executive collaborators.
• Develop a strategy and plan for achieving customer objectives from a consultative approach.
• Coordinate with technical support for technically complex questions.
• Monitor customer usage, adoption, and health metrics.
• Renewals and incremental growth through cross-sell, add-on, and upgrade sales.
• Manage pipeline to meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecast objectives in Salesforce.com and Gainsight.
