Job summary

Optiv Security Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Advisor (Portfolio Security Advisor) to serve as a trusted partner for strategic clients.

This role combines security expertise with sales acumen to design defensible, scalable security programs tailored to each client’s environment and aligned with Optiv’s ecosystem of services and partners. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in information security, strong presentation and communication skills, CISSP or equivalent, and the ability to travel up

Qualifications

• BS/BA or applicable work experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years in an information security role, preferably as a consulting advisor, architect, or Cybersecurity leader.
• Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills to clients, including whiteboard sessions and other presentation mechanisms.
• Ability to work in-person and remotely with distributed teams in a decentralized environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive generation of services and technologies business to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quota objectives with account and domain teams.
• Understand and maintain knowledge of client security environment, business operations, security needs, and risk appetite.
• Identify client security concerns and how they map to Optiv’s strategic solutions across the domain and holistic security programs.
• Qualify leads and partner with internal colleagues to determine scope, proposal management, and follow through to closure.
• Collaborate with service delivery to ensure the team has necessary supporting domain materials for a consistent approach.
