Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking a Client Manager in New York to drive excellent client service and proactive management of an aligned client portfolio. You will support Relationship Managers with onboarding, credit monitoring, and ongoing maintenance while coordinating with Legal, Compliance, and operations to ensure top-tier service and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Banking or Finance is preferred.
• 5+ years experience in banking or related environment.
• Risk & AML certification as stipulated by policy.
• Fluent English and/or local language as relevant.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality client service and proactive account management.
• Support RMs with onboarding, credit monitoring, and flow maintenance.
• Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, and operations to ensure standard documentation.
• Manage client data quality and portfolio hygiene.
• Escalate issues to CM Team Lead and ensure timely resolution.
• Assist with KYC, regulatory onboarding and CAF processes.
