Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking a Client Manager to drive client service excellence and seamless readiness-to-transact. You will support relationship managers on an aligned client portfolio, ensuring top-tier service, risk mitigation, and timely KYC, credit monitoring, and documentation.

Qualification includes a banking/finance degree and AML risk certification, with strong English writing and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Banking or Finance (preferred).
3+ years experience in banking or in a relevant environment.
Risk & AML certified as per Bank policy for Client Manager role.
Languages: English and/or local language as relevant.
Ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders and deliver exceptional client service.
Knowledge of local regulations (CDD, credit and lending, risk management).
Superior writing and presentation skills in English.

Responsibilities

Drive client management activities to deliver excellent service and readiness to transact.
Support RMs on the assigned client portfolio to ensure strong delivery.
Ensure high levels of service and risk mitigation through proactive account management and onboarding.
Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Credit, and Operations to meet documentation and regulatory requirements.
Engage Clients, RMs and Product Partners to address issues and opportunities.
Oversee client onboarding, CDD, and regulatory onboarding processes.
Manage account opening, documentation, and channel coordination; maintain client data quality.
Support governance, risk management, and adherence to Bank policies and conduct standards.
