Job summary

Marsh in New York City is seeking a Client Support Services professional to join our team, with flexibility to Philadelphia or New York. This hybrid role requires in-office presence at least three days per week and focuses on managing ongoing client needs from start to finish.

You will be the primary contact for designated clients, lead and coordinate complex projects, conduct benchmarking studies, and partner with senior colleagues to strengthen relationships and deliver customized solutions

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in reinsurance accounting and claims.
• Experience managing day-to-day client relationships in a client-facing, professional services environment.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to drive multiple initiatives to completion and coordinate across internal stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills, including research, benchmarking and data analysis, and support for proposals and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for designated clients; overseeing select client account activities from a global perspective, addressing client concerns, and following up on correspondence to help strengthen and grow client relationships
• Manage individual client projects to completion, including action planning, monitoring progress, and ensuring service meets or exceeds expectations; may supervise junior colleagues on project execution
• Develop an understanding of client businesses by conducting research; prepare premium, claim account analysis, and peer benchmarking studies for client and/or internal team use
• Support designated accounts with core account management tasks, including liaising with internal senior professionals, coordinating meeting logistics, gathering information from carriers and colleagues, and working with legal as necessary
• Lead and/or participate in client and internal meetings in support of delivering consulting advice; mitigate account concerns and apply judgment on escalation to senior colleagues
• Conduct and refine data analyses to support client presentations; draft and/or oversee completion of essential comprehensive client-facing project documentation
• Participate in industry events and conferences to build professional networks, maintain market proximity, and represent the Company
• Maintain fluency in company and carrier products, colleagues, and operations to enhance client support and expand capabilities
