Job summary

Blue Chip is seeking a Senior Client Leader to oversee client marketing programs, manage P&L, and steer project lifecycles with strong leadership across teams in Illinois. The role drives strategic development, budgets, and client relationships while mentoring staff and ensuring profitability.

The Senior Client Leader will report to senior management, supervise coordinators, and collaborate with internal and vendor partners to deliver high-impact campaigns at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in account services including planning, managing, and activating marketing plans for B2C and/or B2B clients.
• Agency experience in marketing, advertising and related fields is required.
• CPG experience is preferred.
• Experience in digital marketing and social media is preferred.
• Working knowledge of digital brand marketing is required.
• Prior experience managing others is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic development for campaigns and projects with Supervisor+ guidance for more complex projects/campaigns.
• Build high value relationships with day-to-day contacts, internal, vendor and client relationships.
• Lead cross-functional team involvement on client SOW for client projects with Supervisor+ guidance for more complex projects.
• Demonstrate understanding of team dynamics and optimize day-to-day workflow.
• Manage client project budgets and client scope with sound financial practices in mind.
• Develop client scopes of work including estimates for projects under $50K.
• Demonstrate knowledge of finance processes and P&L management.
• Proactively monitor actual hours vs SOW estimates and report pacing to senior leaders.
• Support senior leaders to engage with clients and internal departments to secure budgets.
