Job summary

Highmark Inc. is seeking a strategic consultant to manage an existing book of business and drive retention and profitable growth. The role involves renewing accounts, selling additional products and services, and building senior-level relationships with clients, consultants and brokers.

The position emphasizes developing tailored solutions, executing business plans, and coordinating internal teams to deliver client strategy and high customer satisfaction. Travel is required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Account/Client Management experience or other relevant experience
• State specific Producer Licenses for Life, Accident & Health are required or must be obtained within 45 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Review new products, services, capabilities, and technologies with the client to sell assigned product lines, renewals and add-on sales for retention and growth.
• Manage relationships at senior levels with clients, consultants and brokers/producers to create valued partnerships and cultivate an active network.
• Develop sales solutions considering competition and political environment.
• Develop and execute business plans and metrics for retaining and growing membership and profitability.
• Conduct routine service calls and serve as the primary Group contact for strategic planning and consultation.
• Support customers during implementation of sales contracts and advocate for escalated service issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Prepare reports and documents for renewal and sales presentations, conclude rates and benefit adjustments.
• Participate in product development and create business programs and long-term strategies for specific accounts.
• Lead internal partners (Clinical, Analytics, etc.) in delivering client strategy.
• Other duties as assigned.
