Job summary

Connection is seeking a Client Engagement Manager in Illinois to own client relationships, ensure successful delivery of products and services, and drive satisfaction, retention, and growth. You will onboard new clients, expand accounts, renew contracts, and collaborate with sales, operations, and technical teams to tailor solutions that meet business goals.

Managing 1-10+ on-site technicians is included. This role requires 10+ years of relevant experience and strong skills in relationship

Qualifications

• 10+ years of similar type experience.
• CRM: Ability to build trust with executive stakeholders.
• Strategic communication and executive presentation skills.
• Consultative selling to drive adoption, expansion, and renewal (LAER model).
• Strong project and program management in fast-paced environments.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking.
• Negotiation and conflict resolution in escalations.
• Lead through challenges with composure and direction.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
• Ensure services are delivered in alignment with contractual obligations and SLAs.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities aligned to client needs.
• Lead a team of 1-10+ on-site Infrastructure Technicians and/or Engineers.
• Collaborate with sales, technical, and operations teams to align on client strategy.
• Manage issues and escalations to drive timely resolutions.
