Job summary

NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) seeks a Procurement Analyst 3 for the Capital Budget and Contracts (CBC) division at the Queens headquarters. The role manages professional services and construction procurements, prepares RFP/CSB documents with Project Managers, and tracks statuses across multiple DEP and City systems.

The position requires permanent Civil Service status as a Procurement Analyst and strong procurement knowledge, with exceptional organizational and communication

Qualifications

• A baccalaureate degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 12 months of professional procurement experience with a qualifying background or an associate degree with relevant experience
• Alternative credential options per the NYC requirements are acceptable
• Residency and civil service status requirements apply for eligibility

Responsibilities

• Manage and process professional services and construction procurements for City contracts
• Prepare RFP and CSB/CSFP documents in collaboration with Project Managers
• Monitor procurement through City contracting and Passport portal
• Respond to inquiries and resolve issues related to procurement documents
• Track contract procurement statuses across DEP and City systems
