Job summary

NetBrain, a leader in no-code network automation, seeks a Chief Information Officer to guide global IT, define enterprise technology strategy, and modernize internal systems. You will own security, data governance, and cross-functional partnerships, building a high-performing IT organization across a distributed workforce.

The role reports to the CEO and sits on the ELT, requiring hands-on leadership and strategic vision to align technology with business goals and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience including 5+ years in a senior role leading enterprise IT at a software/tech company.
• Proven track record setting enterprise technology strategy and delivering large-scale transformation.
• Deep experience with information security, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise platforms.
• Demonstrated experience evaluating and deploying AI and automation tools in an enterprise setting.
• Strong financial acumen with budget ownership, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
• Excellent communication skills to influence executives and explain complex topics to non-technical audiences.
• Experience leading distributed, global teams.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a multi-year enterprise technology strategy aligned to company goals and growth plans.
• Lead the IT organization, including enterprise applications, infrastructure, end-user support, and IT operations; hire, develop, and retain top talent.
• Own information security and compliance strategy, partnering with Legal and Security to manage risk and support audits and certifications.
• Oversee the enterprise application landscape, ensuring integration, reliability, and strong user experience.
• Partner with the CFO and General Counsel on technology budgeting, vendor selection, procurement, and contract negotiation to optimize spend and manage third-party risk.
• Establish data governance, analytics, and reporting capabilities for trusted, timely insights.
• Ensure business continuity, disaster recovery, and resilient infrastructure across a globally distributed workforce.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the ELT and Board on technology risk, investment, and opportunity.
• Lead major cross-functional initiatives, including system implementations, migrations, and process transformation.
