Job summary

NSA's Linguists, the Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs), contribute to the SIGINT mission by analyzing, translating, and transcribing foreign language materials for policy makers and leaders. The LADP offers an intensive, up-to-three-year development track with multiple operational tours and formal training to build core analytic capabilities.

• Minimum language proficiency: ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for the target language.
• A degree in any field is acceptable.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in language work or related fields (translation, transcription, analysis, etc).

Responsibilities

• Offer linguistics support by analyzing, transcribing, translating foreign language materials.
• Engage with partners and customers across the Intelligence Community to support analytic missions.
• Perform tasks within LADP or direct hire pathways to develop core analytic competencies.
