Job summary

NSA's linguists, the Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs), are selected to support the SIGINT mission across multiple offices, including LADP and direct hire paths. Candidates must meet ILR 2/2 in reading and listening for a target language and bring strong analytic and communicative skills.

Position offers a structured development track with operational tours and training. Applicants should reflect relevant experience in translation, transcription, and analysis within NSA's mission

Qualifications

• Minimum ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for target language.
• Degree in any field acceptable; relevant experience a plus.
• Experience in language analysis, translation, or related fields preferred.
• Willingness to participate in LADP or direct hire as described.

Responsibilities

• Analyze foreign language materials and produce reports.
• Transcribe, translate, and summarize information for customers.
• Collaborate with analysts across the IC and NSA mission areas.
• Mentor, coach, and support junior Language Analysts as needed.
