Job summary

NSA seeks Linguists, Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs), to support SIGINT mission through analysis, transcription and translation. Candidates must meet ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for the target language and may enter LADP or direct hire tracks.

This full-time position involves collaborating with analysts across offices, completing rigorous training, and preparing written and oral assessments while supporting national security objectives.

Qualifications

• A degree in any field is acceptable.
• At least one year of relevant experience in language work or related field.
• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for the target language.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate key information for policymakers and analysts.
• Research cultural and geopolitical contexts to support SIGINT analysis.
• Synthesize data from multiple sources to provide clear insights.
• Collaborate with NSA colleagues and IC partners on analytic tasks and reporting.
