Job summary

NSA's Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs) support the SIGINT mission by analyzing, transcribing, and translating foreign language materials. The role requires Chinese language proficiency and ILR 2/2 in reading/listening, plus readiness for the Language Analysis Development Program (LADP) or direct hire into analytic positions.

Qualified applicants will participate in intensive training, engage with IC partners, and contribute to high-stakes intelligence processing while following NSA's

Qualifications

• A degree in any field is acceptable.
• Minimum ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for the target language.
• Entry/Developmental: HS diploma + 4 years, or Associate +2, or Bachelor's with no experience.
• Full Performance: higher education/experience combinations as specified.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate key information for policymakers and analysts.
• Engage with partners across the Intelligence Community on analytic tasks.
• Develop language analytic competencies through LADP or direct-hire paths.
• Mentor and coach other Language Analysts and ensure mission health.
