NSA's Linguists, known as Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs), analyze foreign language materials for SIGINT missions and contribute to policy-relevant reports. MDLAs may enter the Language Analysis Development Program or direct hire into analytic offices, with tours and training throughout the LADP.

Applicants must demonstrate ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening, possess at least a high school diploma plus relevant experience, and be prepared for rigorous training and tests.

Qualifications

• Minimum ILR 2/2 in reading and listening for target language.
• A degree in any field is acceptable.
• Experience in language work or related fields (analysis, intelligence) is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate foreign language materials.
• Engage with partners, enablers, and customers across the IC.
• Participate in LADP or direct hire into analytic missions.
• Prepare written and oral assessments with insights for policymakers.
• Collaborate with NSA analysts and other IC members.
