Job summary

D.A. Davidson Companies is seeking a Problem & Change Governance Lead to oversee Problem Management and Change Enablement within IT Application Support.

You will coordinate the change schedule and CAB, drive root-cause analysis, and embed KCS to capture and reuse knowledge in daily work. You will guide governance, coordination, and follow-through while teams retain responsibility for investigations and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in IT service management, application support, service operations, or a similar tech environment.
• ITIL 4 Foundation or higher.
• Successful completion of the SIE exam and Series 99 within 120 days of start date.
• Experience using service-management tools to document workflows, governance records, metrics, and knowledge management.
• Working knowledge of KCS principles (search before creating, reuse knowledge, improve articles).
• Strong analytical, organizational, facilitation, coaching, communication, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve Problem Management processes, standards, and backlog.
• Coordinate root-cause reviews and ensure clear ownership, status, and action plans.
• Coordinate Change Enablement and CAB activities; manage risk, timing, and communications.
• Develop and maintain change models; present to CAB for standard changes.
• Ensure post-change and knowledge follow-up for failed or emergency changes.
