Job summary

D.A. Davidson Companies is seeking a Problem & Change Governance Lead to oversee Problem Management and Change Enablement within IT Application Support.

You will coordinate the change schedule, guide root-cause analyses, and embed Knowledge-Centered Service to capture and reuse knowledge in daily work. The role requires coordinating CAB meetings, developing change models, and delivering metrics while ensuring governance, risk review, and security standards meet policy and client confidentiality

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience in IT, business, or related field.
• Experience in IT service management, application support, or similar tech environments.
• ITIL 4 Foundation certification or higher.
• SIE and Series 99 completed within 120 days of start.
• Experience with service-management tools for workflows and metrics.
• Knowledge of KCS principles.
• Strong analytical, organizational, facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Commitment to confidentiality and security.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve the Problem Management processes and backlog.
• Coordinate root-cause reviews and ensure clear ownership and action plans.
• Embed Knowledge-Centered Service with reusable articles.
• Lead Change Enablement, CAB coordination, and risk assessments.
• Develop change models and ensure post-change follow-up.
• Collaborate across teams and report on metrics and outcomes.
• Coach teams in Problem Management, Change Enablement, and KCS.
