Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a Manager in Workforce Transformation Change Management to lead engagement delivery, strategy, and SME guidance. You’ll drive change initiatives across client projects, manage budgets and resources, and mentor staff while supporting business development.

You will work across HR transformation, payroll considerations, and due diligence activities, traveling as required to client sites. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in consulting are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience in a consulting context preferred.
• Change management or program management certifications (Prosci, CCMP, PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, CPP) preferred.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance change management effectiveness.
• Targeted business transformation experience (ERP implementations, operating model design, shared services, large-scale programs).

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement delivery strategy, outcomes, and SME guidance for Change Enablement engagements.
• Manage project planning, execution, reporting, and risk mitigation to meet client expectations.
• Facilitate client meetings, workshops, requirements gathering, and deliverable readouts.
• Develop client operations understanding and adapt to cultural styles for project success.
• Oversee budget, resources, and project economics; mentor staff on projects.
• Support business development, drafting proposals and information requests.
• Develop statements of work and client contracts; drive cross-team collaboration.
• Travel as needed (typically 40–50%, up to 80% on occasion).
