Job summary

Grant Thornton US is seeking a Workforce Transformation Senior Associate to help clients transform people, processes, and technology through governance, program leadership, and change management across HR, payroll, and organizational transformation initiatives.

You will partner across service lines to support complex engagements, advise stakeholders, and support business development efforts while aligning people, processes, and technology to achieve sustainable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in communications, HR, organizational development, or related field.
• 3+ years of related work experience; consulting preferred.
• Change/program management certifications preferred (Prosci, CCMP, PMP, Lean, Six Sigma).
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Experience in program/project management and/or organizational change management.
• Experience in culture awareness, communications planning/execution, stakeholder engagement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Excel, Project).
• Preferred skills with communication tools (Camtasia, Canva, Poll Everywhere).
• Travel typically 40–50%, up to 80% in some cases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply GT methodologies across workforce transformation engagements (HR, payroll, org change).
• Support scalable approaches to manage workforce and operational change.
• Develop understanding of client workforce ops, governance, and business drivers.
• Collaborate with teams to design and execute integrated communications strategies.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and facilitate meetings/workshops.
• Analyze data to identify risks, opportunities, and insights for clients.
• Identify readiness constraints and translate insights into actionable plans.
• Manage workstreams, address challenges, and escalate risks as needed.
• Support coaching and development of engagement team members.
• Assist business development with proposals and client responses.
• Contribute to practice development and knowledge sharing.
