Job summary

New York Life Insurance Company is seeking a Senior Associate, Change Management to design and execute people-side strategies for major transformation programs. You will bridge strategic insight and hands-on implementation to drive adoption and enable enterprise goals across the Agency network of 12,000+ agents and advisors.

In a hybrid role based in the New York Life Foundation, you will lead structured change plans, collaborate with Communications and Training teams, mentor junior associates,

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience leading or supporting organizational change, transformation, or large-scale project delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Communications, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required.
• Prosci Change Management Certification or similar preferred.
• Proficiency in ADKAR or Kotter; familiarity with Microsoft Office, project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet), and collaboration tools (SharePoint, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute structured change strategies encompassing stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and adoption planning.
• Provide change management support in implementing complex operational and technology initiatives to achieve high adoption and OKRs.
• Conduct change impact and readiness assessments to shape actionable plans.
• Design and deliver communication and learning experiences in partnership with Agency Communications and Training teams.
• Identify emerging issues and develop change readiness plans to minimize risk and enable go/no go decisions.
• Regularly update the Change Management Roadmap to align with priorities, capacity, and goals.
• Design feedback loops, workshops, and forums to promote adoption and address resistance.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives and manage timelines with minimal supervision.
• Use data to measure adoption and optimize change activities.
• Collaborate with leaders and mentor junior associates to build change capability.
