Job summary

Hanover Insurance Group, Inc. seeks a Change and Communication Director for our Worcester, MA campus in a hybrid arrangement.

The role leads organizational readiness, change management strategies, and enterprise communications in partnership with IT, HR, and corporate communications. You will develop and execute plans to maximize adoption of changes across processes, technology, and people, while partnering with senior leadership to ensure alignment with business goals and Hanover values.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years direct experience leading readiness and change efforts.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience leading change and communication efforts of varied complexity and scale.
• Change Management certification or designation a plus.
• Strong written/verbal communication and stakeholder influence skills.

Responsibilities

• Set direction and vision for HTG change and communication strategies and plans.
• Lead executive communications strategy and content for CIO and HTG senior leadership, including board materials and town halls.
• Develop/update annual change and communications strategy aligned with metrics and success measures.
• Collaborate with Corporate Communications to co-create collateral and messaging across Hanover enterprise.
• Maintain integrated people, communication, and change roadmaps with dependencies and risks.
• Coach executives and leaders on sponsorship activities, readiness strategies, and stakeholder engagement.
• Emerge multi-faceted solutions to enable employees and leaders to adopt new ways of working.
• Advance HTG goals by improving employee communications and understanding of business progress.
• Partner with HR and leadership to assess organizational impacts and develop change strategies.
