Qualifications

• Minimum 5-8 years of accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Insurance accounting experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA, MBA, or Master’s in Accounting strongly preferred.
• Experience with SAP, NAIC, GAAP, SEC, and statutory accounting principles preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems including PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, Essbase, Hyperion, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead reinsurance accounting, systems, and reporting matters as expert.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, controls, and QA activities.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and reporting.
• Review complex journal entries, reconciliations, and workpapers.
• Prepare and analyze financial results, investigate variances, resolve issues.
