You will report to the President/CEO and partner with the Executive Team to ensure fiscal health and accountability. The role requires nonprofit fund accounting experience, GAAP compliance, and a track record in budgeting, audits, and internal controls.

Qualifikationen

• BA in accounting or finance required.
• CPA or MBA/MPA/MS in Accounting a plus.
• Minimum of five years of financial management experience required.
• At least three years in a senior finance leadership role supervising finance staff preferred.
• Experience in budget development and cash flow management required; multi-year forecasting a plus.
• Advanced Excel and fund accounting software proficiency required.

Aufgaben

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, payroll, purchasing, bank accounts).
• Lead strategic financial planning, budgets, cash flow and reserve management.
• Ensure grant and regulatory compliance, annual audits, risk management and internal controls.
• Prepare financial reports for the President/CEO, Board of Directors and funders; translate data into clear insights.
• Influence hiring/firing decisions of employees.
• Support mission sustainability through accurate financial management and governance.
