The CFO will guide budgeting, planning, treasury, and compliance, overseeing internal controls and outsourced resources to drive sustainable growth and accountability within the organization.

Qualifications

• Senior financial leadership experience, preferably in nonprofit or mission-driven settings.
• Experience with construction accounting, retail operations, and mortgage lending or similar multi-faceted environments.
• Strategic-level thinking with strong oversight of complex financial operations.
• Experience managing or overseeing a finance team.
• Strong governance, compliance, and fiduciary responsibilities in a nonprofit.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership to the Executive Leadership Team and Finance Committee.
• Ensure fiscal stewardship through internal controls, reporting accuracy, and disciplined management.
• Oversee treasury, liquidity management, banking relationships, and cash flow forecasting.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting across departments including development, construction, retail, and homeowner services.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and serve as liaison to auditors, regulators, and board committees.
• Direct the finance team and outsourced resources to maintain high-functioning operations.
• Drive operational excellence by improving financial systems, processes, and reporting.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks across all lines of business.
