Beyond Housing in Missouri is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead our financial strategy, risk management, and long-term fiscal health. You will oversee budgeting, cash flow, tax filings, and real estate financing to support mission impact.

This senior role requires a CPA (preferred), at least seven years of nonprofit financial leadership, and a track record in governance and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and senior leadership team.
• Coordinate filing of annual tax returns (990, 1065, 1120) with the audit firm.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and long-range financial planning.
• Develop multi-year financial projections and scenario modeling.
• Ensure GAAP, Uniform Guidance compliance and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

• Oversee cash flow management and liquidity strategy.
• Manage debt obligations and reserves.
• Monitor capital structure and financing strategies.
• Lead internal control and risk management efforts.
• Serve as liaison to Board Finance Committee.
