Job summary

Lancer Hospitality in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Catering Sales Manager to lead sales and marketing for all catering services, including internal and external events. You will develop menus, plan budgets, and supervise execution as the primary contact for events.

Responsibilities include staff hiring, training, policy development, and cost control. Strong communication and leadership are essential to drive growth and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ progressive experience in a sales or catering management role.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities; ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft software programs.
• Associate degree in hospitality or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises all catering functions.
• Maintains local client database and builds and maintains relationship with vendors.
• Creates operating statements, reports, and operational budgets, and reviews of the collection of receivables.
• Develops and maintains excellent relationships with all associates, clients and customers.
• Creates proposals, contracts and all event orders.
• Ensures that all menus and catering materials are professionally prepared and presented.
• Responsible for the hiring, development of catering staff and is actively involved in the development of training manuals and catering policies and procedures.
