Job summary

Pacific Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced catering/event sales professional for our hotel portfolio in Austin, TX. You will drive revenue by selling public space, food & beverage, and function planning services to corporate and social clients.

You will build long-term client relationships, respond to RFPs, present proposals, and coordinate with hotel departments to plan details, services, and decor. A hospitality degree is preferred and 2+ years of related sales experience is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of catering/event sales in a hotel/resort or winery.
• Experience with multi-cultural weddings or events desired.
• Knowledge of cost control for events and meetings.
• Solid knowledge of hotel service standards and guest relations.

Responsibilities

• Sell the public space, food & beverage, and function planning services to clients.
• Establish and maintain client relationships to maximize revenue.
• Solicit new business opportunities and develop market relationships.
• Respond to RFPs, outline space/menus/facilities, and quote prices.
