Job summary

3PL Hub Inc. is seeking a Freight Brokerage Carrier Sales Representative to source transportation providers and provide tracking updates to support customer requests.

You will develop a carrier coverage strategy with autonomy to support truckload and LTL coverage needs, coordinating with Account Executives, SMA, and Business Development Managers to build a robust carrier network. You will tender, dispatch, track, and communicate load statuses, cultivate carrier relationships, and ensure coverage

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Transportation Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• Three (3) years or more business experience required.
• Working knowledge of Transportation Industry, carrier modes & services and basic Supply Chain design and functionality advanced required.
• Knowledge and support of RIL policies and procedures advanced required.
• Demonstrated PC skills in MS Access, Excel, Word. Clear understanding of SMS legacy system intermediate required.
• Understanding of assigned customer, customer product and distribution requirements intermediate required.

Responsibilities

• Tender accept/reject loads, create loads, set appointments, dispatch and track loads.
• Develop relationships with transportation providers to ensure adequate coverage and capacity.
• Manage day-to-day planning and scheduling of coverage to meet customer needs within the agreed time frame.
