Winsupply is seeking a Carrier Manager to lead the Carrier Relations Specialists across our wholesale distribution network. You will shape strategy, negotiate contracts, and drive cost efficiency while ensuring service quality with LTL, TL, Parcel, and 3PL providers.

You will mentor a team and partner with local distribution centers to align transportation priorities. You have 5+ years in carrier management, deep knowledge of DOT rules, and strong Excel/Power BI skills to deliver executive

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years’ carrier management experience in logistics and transportation.
• Deep experience managing LTL and Truckload; Parcel and 3PL preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience managing a high-volume TMS.
• Thorough understanding of DOT regulations, carrier contracting, accessorial governance, and claims fundamentals.

Mansioni

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Carrier Relations Specialists.
• Set clear KPIs for the team regarding carrier performance, routing guide compliance, and issue resolution.
• Audit and improve team SOPs to ensure consistent carrier management practices across the WSS network.
• Lead the lifecycle for carrier agreements, including rate files, fuel programs, and SLAs.
• Design and execute large-scale sourcing events and annual bid cycles for all modes (LTL, TL, Parcel).
• Identify and implement network-wide cost-saving initiatives through mode optimization and carrier alignment.
• Act as the final escalation point for complex negotiations, freight classification disputes (NMFC), and FAK structures.
• Oversee routing guides to ensure alignment between cost, service, and operational capacity.
• Ensure all carrier partners meet compliance standards (safety, insurance, operating authority).
• Serve as functional lead for the TMS (MercuryGate/Infios) and translate data into executive insights.
