Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics in California is seeking a Carrier Sales Representative II to develop strategic relationships with a portfolio of carriers and secure truck capacity for our external and internal customers.

You will collaborate with Account Executives to match carrier equipment to client needs, negotiate rates, and drive performance through monthly reviews and daily shipment tracking. This role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years logistics experience required.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic trucking terminology.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS).

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain long-term, strategic relationships with a defined portfolio of carriers.
• Prospect qualified carriers via daily sourcing calls to secure capacity.
• Negotiate rates with transportation providers at or below market rates.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to match carrier equipment to client needs.
• Lead monthly business reviews and monitor carrier performance.
• Ensure shipments are tracked daily and report KPIs.
• Drive automation across carrier portfolio (GPS, ELD, EDI).
• Provide guidance to less experienced Carrier Sales Reps.
