Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Carrier Sales Representative II in Hayward, CA to develop and own strategic relationships with a portfolio of carriers supporting our network of external and internal customers.

You will procure capacity and build strong relationships with carrier partners, while optimizing carrier needs within AIT’s freight mix and maintaining high standards of performance and communication.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years logistics experience (Required)
• High School Diploma or GED is required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain long‑term, strategic relationships with a defined portfolio of carriers
• Prospect qualified carriers by conducting daily sourcing calls to secure capacity
• Negotiate rates with transportation providers at or below current market rates
• Develop, implement, and manage dedicated capacity solutions for AIT Truckload customers
• Lead monthly business reviews with top carriers and monitor performance
