Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Carrier Sales Representative II to develop strategic relationships with a portfolio of carriers and secure truck capacity for our network of customers.

You will collaborate with Account Executives, negotiate rates, and drive carrier performance improvements while ensuring timely shipment tracking and opportunities for automation across the carrier portfolio.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years logistics experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of truckload, OTR and intermodal terms.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain long-term relationships with a defined portfolio of carriers.
• Source qualified carriers via daily sourcing calls to secure capacity.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to match carrier equipment to customer needs.
• Negotiate rates with transportation providers at or below market rates.
• Monitor carrier performance and address deficiencies with corrective actions.
• Ensure all shipments are tracked daily and drive automation efforts (GPS/EDI).
