Job summary

JRC in the United States is seeking a proactive Carrier Relationship Manager to build and maintain a strong carrier network within a busy truckload brokerage. You will serve as the primary contact for carriers, negotiate rate agreements, and support operational efficiency.

You will monitor performance metrics, address issues promptly, and collaborate with customer service and operations to ensure smooth freight movement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage strong relationships with carriers in truckload brokerage and negotiate rate agreements.
• Procure carrier capacity, verify qualifications, and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Manage carrier performance metrics (on-time delivery, load acceptance, profitability) and provide coaching.
• Resolve carrier-related issues promptly and mediate between carriers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with customer service and operations to match carriers with loads efficiently.
• Stay informed about industry trends and carrier market conditions to recommend improvements.
