Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager in the Raleigh, NC area to manage strategic accounts across inpatient and ambulatory settings. You will collaborate with matrix teams to optimize access, utilization, and portfolio performance while engaging hospital systems and payors at multiple levels.

The role requires 3+ years of account management or public payor experience, with strong relationship-building and data-driven decision making. Travel within territory is expected.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 2+ years of sales experience and/or account management experience or
• Masters degree and 4 years of sales experience and/or account management experience, or
• Bachelors degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or account management experience
• Advanced degree (e.g. MPH, MBA, PharmD) with 7+ years of healthcare sales and/or marketing experience or related experience

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic lead for assigned key accounts and develop compliant, innovative strategies.
• Ensure institutional availability across inpatient and ambulatory care settings.
• Lead account plans aligned to cardiovascular strategy and performance metrics.
• Coordinate matrix team and payor resources to support access and utilization.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers in hospital systems and payors.
• Present data and messages to stakeholders in a compliant manner.
• Monitor account performance and market dynamics and provide insights.
