Job summary

Granite Telecommunications in Tysons, VA, is seeking a Capture Manager to lead and execute capture strategies for civilian federal, DoD, and select commercial opportunities. You will oversee the full capture lifecycle, collaborate with BD, sales, proposals, and leadership to position Granite for growth.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of capture management or related experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives to completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience.
• Experience supporting opportunity pursuits within federal civilian agencies and/or DoD.
• Understanding of government procurement and acquisition processes.
• Experience managing opportunities throughout the full capture lifecycle.
• Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, and federal procurement regulations.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and drive initiatives to completion.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Comfortable interacting with customers, senior executives, sales teams, and external partners.
• Ability to attend and actively participate in customer, partner, and sales meetings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage capture plans, win strategies, and opportunity roadmaps.
• Attend customer meetings, sales meetings, industry events, and partner engagements to support opportunity development.
• Collaborate with Account Executives, Federal Sales Executives, Proposal Managers, Solutions Engineers, and leadership throughout the capture process.
• Conduct opportunity qualification, stakeholder analysis, competitive assessments, and market research.
• Facilitate solution development efforts with technical and operational teams.
• Support proposal development activities including storyboards, themes, discriminators, and content reviews.
• Track capture milestones, schedules, risks, and action items.
• Present capture updates, recommendations, and forecasts to senior leadership.
• Maintain opportunity data and documentation within CRM and pipeline management tools.
