Job summary

Amcor Rigid Packaging is seeking a Senior Project Manager for capital projects in PET preforms and rigid containers. You will oversee projects from conception to qualification across multiple sites, focusing on productivity, timing, and budget.

Responsibilities include BOM creation, feasibility refinement with regional input, plant infrastructure reviews, and cost analysis of equipment and processes. Travel about 60% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering required.
• Seven years of professional engineering experience in plastics packaging, with seven years in project management.
• Strong interpersonal, management and communication skills; ability to influence multiple resources.
• Experience managing direct reports and working independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Create bills of materials for new capital projects and support the capital appropriation process.
• Incorporate safety and environmental requirements into project scope and budget.
