Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead complex capital projects for PET preforms and rigid containers. You will oversee manufacturing-focused reviews from concept to qualification, across multiple sites, while ensuring productivity and budget adherence.

You will drive feasibility studies, manage equipment evaluations, and coordinate with regional directors and plant resources. The role requires travel and strong leadership to deliver on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 7+ years in plastics packaging with project management experience.
• Experience managing multiple resources and complex projects.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Create bills of materials for capital projects and support the capital appropriation process.
• Ensure that safety and environmental requirements are incorporated into the project scope and budget.
• Refine feasibility studies into action implementation plans meeting cost and timing criteria.
• Review plant infrastructure and equipment against project requirements; manage upgrades and expansions.
• Analyze performance and cost of equipment and vendors; evaluate tooling and workflows.
• Publish weekly project status reports and communicate issues.
• Create and maintain division-level technical specifications and documentation.
• Communicate with plants to monitor long-term project performance and resolve issues.
• Travel ~60%.
