Job summary

GAF is seeking a Capital Procurement Manager (CPM) to lead procurement activities across project lifecycles. You will partner with Project Engineering, Manufacturing, and Business stakeholders to secure goods and services on time and within budget, applying known procurement strategies and policies.

You will drive construction sourcing, manage vendor relations, and ensure best practices in terms of IP protection and commercial terms while supporting continuous improvement and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• 5+ years of overall procurement experience.
• 2+ years of manufacturing or industrial experience managing capital procurement or construction contracts.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence all levels of the organization.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and analytical tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement fit-for-purpose project procurement plans and strategies.
• Lead construction RFI/proposal sourcing, conditioning, and recommendations.
• Structure and negotiate construction contracts with risk-mitigation terms.
• Oversee vendor manufacturing timelines, freight logistics, and site delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with engineering and EPC/EPCm firms to ensure tech and commercial alignment.
• Collaborate to provide procurement insights for continuous improvement.
• Resolve supplier disputes and advise on minimizing operational and financial risks.
