Job summary

Jobgether on behalf of a partner seeks a Category Lead, Capital Equipment (CAPEX) in the United States to shape global sourcing strategies for equipment across engineering, manufacturing, and lab operations. You will lead complex negotiations and build long-term supplier partnerships.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Finance, and Legal to align procurement with technology roadmaps and budgets, delivering cost savings and lifecycle optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• MBA, master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year category strategies aligned with business objectives, technology roadmaps, manufacturing requirements, and capital investment plans.
• Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing processes, including RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, supplier evaluations, bid analysis, negotiations, supplier selection, and contract awards.
• Provide commercial expertise for capital business cases, investment approvals, and vendor selection activities.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Finance, and Legal to align equipment sourcing decisions with organizational priorities.
