Job summary

Amrize is seeking a CAPEX Category Manager to define and align strategy for sub commodities across North America. You will become the SME for core categories and lead strategic sourcing for capital projects, including large equipment and engineering services.

You will drive negotiation, develop supplier relationships, and implement cost-saving strategies while collaborating with legal and stakeholders to optimize contracts and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Field of Study: Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business, Economics or Engineering.
• Experience in large capital expenditure activities and sourcing.
• Willingness to travel ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Define and align strategy for sub commodities within scope.
• Serve as SME for related sub commodities or suppliers.
• Lead and execute sourcing processes for capital projects.
• Develop frame agreements with main suppliers in assigned categories.
• Achieve targets for spend coverage, compliance and benefits.
• Negotiate contracts and drive supplier performance.
