Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr Global Category Manager, CAPEX - EMI to strategically source Auxiliary equipment and services for fulfillment operations. You will lead cross-functional sourcing teams, negotiate with suppliers, and drive multi-year category strategies to deliver savings and resilience across CAPEX Equipment, Mobility and Infrastructure.

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• 5+ years of supply chain experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Establish multi year category sourcing strategies and lead cross-functional sourcing teams.
• Drive relationships with suppliers to optimize total cost of ownership.
• Manage category suppliers to identify and optimize opportunities.
• Act as a market intelligence provider for categories and inform stakeholders.
• Drive supplier relationships in SRM to mitigate risk and improve performance.
• Identify and report savings and value targets for sourcing activities.
• Align with internal customers to understand business applications of the category.
