Job description

We are seeking an experienced Capital Equipment Lead to take ownership of the sourcing, procurement, delivery, and lifecycle management of capital equipment for a major manufacturing facility project.

Working closely with Engineering, Project Management, Construction, Operations, Quality, and external suppliers, you will lead equipment procurement activities from specification and supplier selection through to FAT/SAT, delivery, installation, and project closeout.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute capital equipment procurement strategies.
• Lead supplier sourcing, selection, negotiation, and contract award.
• Manage equipment delivery schedules, logistics, warehousing, and installation coordination.
• Oversee FAT and SAT activities with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Track long-lead equipment and proactively mitigate project risks.
• Build and manage strong supplier relationships focused on quality and delivery performance.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, GMP requirements, and project standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of capital equipment procurement and project delivery experience.
• Strong understanding of process and utility equipment within manufacturing environments.
• Proven supplier management, commercial negotiation, and project coordination skills.
• Experience supporting large-scale capital projects in regulated industries is highly desirable.
