Job summary

Amrize is seeking a CAPEX Category Manager to define and align strategy for sub commodities within scope. You will become the subject matter expert and lead sourcing processes for capital projects across large equipment, civil construction, and engineering services in North America.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, Legal, and finance, develop supplier negotiations, and drive cost savings while managing CAPEX activities with senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience.
• Additional Education Preferred: Master's degree.
• Field of Study Preferred: Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business, Economics or Engineering
• Required Work Experience: Consultant, project management or sourcing experience in large capital expenditure activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop category strategies in support of Global and Regional Procurement.
• Lead sourcing processes for capital projects across cement plants.
• Negotiate complex contracts with suppliers and lead cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain frame agreements with main suppliers.
• Drive cost savings, supplier consolidation and bundling opportunities.
